Pambiche (pronunced: Pam-beach'a) is a great escape! A client who left Cuba years ago turned me on to this place, and I'm SO glad she did!
I felt like my favorite dish "Vaca Frita" and had my fix! This dish is splashed with fresh citrus 'sauce' that cools the seared beef which is marinated in incredible delicious herbs and spices. Served with a side of delicate rice, and beans (either red or black) all for $8.00! Can you beat that!
It's a simple place, but in the true CUBAN style; the colors are vibrant, the food delicious, and a meal for two can cost you about $20 . . . you'll leave filled, but not over-stuffed. Ouside dining is typical on a hot summer days.
Oh, did I mention Sangria! I didn't have any this time, but it's a traditional drink that goes well with all the dishes.
They do have a breakfast menu as well. And I keep this restaurant on my rotation; taking clients here when we are looking for properties on the East Side!
Pambiche is a "Cuban Creole" restauant, blending the flavors of the region the simply make you want to go back again, and again. Which I do!
