How to Fix your Business Card

By
Real Estate Agent with ExecuHome Realty, Inc.

After 20 years as a Realtor you learn a thing or two that only experiance teaches. There was a recent blog concerning BUSINESS CARDS " 3 Things to do; 1) Put a call to action on back 2) Don't Gloss back 3) Put photo on card " After reading all the responses, it dawned on me to share my experiance on this topic.

Don't discard your Businees Cards that don't meet these 3 topics...fix them and here's how !

1) Yes put call to action on backs. Use an address lable to stick on the back of the card. Always put something, but try to be specific. For example; Instructions for sellers, Buyers Hints, Open House Thank You for visiting, Nice to meet you, we are members of the same group or club, or just simply "Note Space:". You can add logos,  and how about adding a "Sponsor"? Yes, use this like a mini billboard and "sell the space"

2) If you did "Gloss the back", then using address lables, is a great way to add messages on the card. Give 100 old cards to a non profit group to promote their function, like a school play, fund raiser for the local fire station carnival, bingo night, walk for cure or other charity events.

3) To add your photo to the card, use the "stick on photo'. There is company that will make lables with your photo on the lable. Some will make a small postage stamp size photo, you can add to the front of your card too.

4) Make corrections on fronts of cards, by using lables too. Lable over old phone numbers, addresses, and lable over old Broker Names as well. You can re-use many old cards this way. Have fun with thse ideas, and now go sell something.

Dan, you are too funny! Not sure what don't gloss back is, because you need it unglossed to make a not?

I made the glossy back mistake and it had to be a huge order of cards. Thanks for the ideas, have to get busy on this one!

Great post, however I think label corrections for phone numbers or Broker changes should require a new card.

:)
