California remains the most sought after place to live and the Santa Clartia Valley is the best location and most affordable in all of Southern California. Our quaint valley is a "destination community" located close to downtown Los Angeles! Some of our benefits include safety, schools, cleanliness and a family friendly atmosphere. We are currently at or near the bottom of this recession and real estate and home sales are leading the way! Home Sales and Real Estate at a glance:
- Sales of homes in 2009 have skyrocketed
- Prices of homes sold have continued to fall
- Interest Rates remain favorable
- Homes are now more affordable than at any time in decades
Reasons people remain on the fence:
- Fear of losing a job
- Fear that prices will continue to fall
Reasons to buy:
- Great time to invest
- Write offs begin once you own a home
- An investment property will allow you to recoup losses sooner once the real estate market recovers
- A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. Timing the absolute bottom or waiting too long could be costly
- This is the best time to make sure our children will be able to own a home and live near us
Predictions of the future real estate market:
- All indications lead us to believe that this recession will end by the end of 2009
- Another rash of foreclosures will be hitting the real estate market soon, perhaps by late summer or early fall
- Signs are that the government will allow these foreclosure to hit the market and be sold
- Buyers should have an opportunity to buy a home at a good price but there will still be competition for the homes
