Another Great Day in Real Estate

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Realty Flagship of MD 600919
Today, I helped another first time home buyer!  It is moments like these that I remember why I decided to become a real estate professional.  Even in this wacky market seller's can sell at their best price and buyers and get what they want without feeling like they have paid too much.  That's is what happend today.  Don't be discourage by editor's of news papers trying to sell more papers and radio reporters trying to get people to listen.  All I hear is doomsday reports but I am experiencing something much better.  You just have to stay focused and work with professionals.

Like a breath of fresh air. Thank you Carmen for this post. When you're having a BAD day in RealEstate something good comes along. It can only come from God.  That's where ALL  OF THE BLESSINGS come from. That buyer will always remember you for what you've done for them.

More than just great rates
Thats great news, I love to help first time home buyers get their first home, so many questions and fears to overcome for them but it's all worth it in the end :-)

Welcome to ActiveRain, Carmen! Your post is a great example of what we need more of -- agents helping their clients meet their housing goals -- instead of the 'gloom and doom' that the media constantly talks about. Keep blogging just like this!

Thanks Carmen for sharing your experience with us. I love working with first time buyers. It is very satisfying to be part of that so important decision in their lives, and as you said, being surrounded by professionals that can make that happen is key.

That's one thing I love about this market...first-time home buyers.  I don't know about Maryland, but in California first time buyer programs were useless two or more years ago.  Now they're jsut right and the combo of lower prices and low rates are a great environment.  It's a reall good feeling, too.  Good for you, Carmen!

Thanks everyone for your comments. I am new to blogging so I am sorry that I didn't realize that I should have responded to you all much sooner...still learning.

As far as positive attitude goes it is not only contagious amoung my colleagues but it works with clients as well, especially first time home buyers -- they are very nervous and tentative.  I am finding lately however, that even first-time home buyers are tough to come by.

Cynthia - I do love working with FTHB.  They are more appreciative of our services as professionals because they don't think they know everything :-)
