Red Clouds Over Red Lodge

The following photos were both taken on July 15 in Red Lodge, Montana.  It is always a nice end to the day to be able to take the time and enjoy the changing of the colors of the sky at sunset.  On this evening, I noticed the clouds take on a reddish accent right at sunset and was able to capture the moment with my digital camera.

Gerry - I like colourful clouds in the sunset like those in your photos.  I need to always bring my camera with me.  A couple of days ago, there was a nice rainbow but I didn't have the camera.

You are welcome.   The sky is so big and beautiful in Montana that there seems to be endless wonderful photo opportunities.  :)

I like to keep my camera close at hand as you never know when the next wonderful photo opportunity might happen especially living so close to nature.   With rainbows and colorful clouds at sunset, the window of opportunity is small (usually a minute or two, sometimes just seconds to capture the best colors) as you know.
