Great to be invited to join. Thanks! I'm in Saskatoon Saskatchewan and quite busy as you have probably heard. Its like a gold rush with buyers from all over Canada realizing that we have it very good in our little part of the world. Prices have been well below the national average for years and we just plug along with 7-10% increases a year.
Well, this year everything has broken out...and we are seeing 10 % increases each month. Sales and prices have almost doubled in this market and we see no end.
Everyone thinks that Realtors are enjoying this but don't understand that we have to show each client lots more homes, place a number of offers (which don't get accepted) and then show the client more homes. We are working our behinds off for the same money we made last year.
Sure wish someone in the media would just give us a break and point out that its not the Realtors getting rich...its the sellers.
Anyway, just blowing off a little steam....wish everyone could have as many buyers are we are getting.
