Are you a camel rider? Have you ridden a camel for transportation or fun?

camel riders Can you believe in this century we still have people riding on camels and elephants?  I know in stome areas with steep cliffs like Greece cars may not ascend the cliffs too well.  When I went to Haiti the taxis there have bad brakes and they climb big mountains to bring tourists to their destinations.  Did I think I was going to die?  Well, it did cross my mind--not having brakes to descend a huge mountain is not my cup of tea if you know what I mean...

Just imagine yourself on a camel with your real estate sign for advertising and a few bottles of water!

Then there is no trunk and no place for "stuff".  If you know George Carlins comedy track--Americans are attached to their stuff and need places for their "stuff" and thwy have "stuff" all over the place.

So, they have oil and don't have cars, is there something wrong here?

We have cars and don't have oil--is this backwards or what?

I've ridden several camels, once for fun and the rest as taxis. It is a smooth gliding ride unlike an elephant which is quite lurching.

You bet cha it is just plain wrong. Carlin had it nailed. No to camels, yes to horses, donkeys, elephants and a Giant Turtle when I was about 5 years old.

Nineteen years of excellence!

I've ridden a camel and it was pretty bad. He or she was in some kind of heat and had a bunch of foam at the mouth and kept trying to bite my leg. Never again!
