The Columbus Board of REALTORS® is a trade group for those in the real estate industry in Central Ohio. The Columbus Board of REALTORS® maintains the multiple listing service for it's members.
Real estate agents are licensed by the state of Ohio. We join real estate associations (or boards) locally. It's been that way for a long, long time.
The Columbus Board of REALTORS® is sometimes referred to as CBR.
Columbus real estate blogs
I know when I started the original Columbus Best Blog (renamed Discover Columbus at some point) back in 2005 the only Columbus real estate blog I could find via Google was a blog from a member of the CBR (a REALTOR®) with the table published monthly in the Columbus Board of Realtors ®Residential Home Sales Table. I believe there was at least one or two other Columbus real estate blogs at that time, I believe the local real estate blogs were all on Blogger (part of Google) yet they were very hard to find via Google's search. My first blog would NOT show up well on Google until sometime after September 2007.

As consumers you have access to the Columbus Board of REALTORS® monthly table and the commentary by the President of the Columbus Board of REALTORS® The same information ends up in the Columbus Dispatch and other local news publications and you hear it on the TV and radio news.
This residential home sales information is from the MLS. June information should come out this week, I believe.

The Central Ohio counties shown in that table of information include all of Franklin and Delaware Counties.
Columbus real estate blogs
In just the past few years Columbus real estate blogs have flourished. You can find local real estate logs that break down the information for your community, your neighborhood. How do you find the info about your neighborhood's sales, homes for sale, etc? Via Google (or Bing or Yahoo... or any search engine.) I like Google.
