How pretty, Gabrielle!  Is that a butterfly or a moth?  I can't quite tell.  Whatever it is, it is beautiful.

Gabrielle, I'm not sure which is prettier the flowers or the butterfly.  We got hot early and all our pretty flowers are wilted on the vine.

Heather: I'm going with butterfly! LOL ... I really have no idea, but it was cool that it stuck around long enough for me to grab my camera!

Marchel: Why, thank you, ma'am! This is one of the pots on the deck ... and they take a LOT of water!

Debra & Gene: You know, I'd love to say that I actually worked hard to get a good picture, but truth be know, I'm mostly a point and shoot kinda person with a reasonably artistic eye. I just take lots and lots of them and hope for the best!

Gabrielle,

Very nice butterfly shot - such a colorful and clear picture. :)

No doubt this butterfly was drawn to your deck by all of the vibrant reds and yellows. Looks like you do as well in the garden as you do behind the camera.

John: Well ... pots are much easier than the rest of the yard, I'll give it that. Annuals really are my summer garden indulgence! The camera part is easy -- zoom in, then point and shoot. I love these newer cameras!! Thanks for the wonderful comment!
