Motivational Power Quote

Improve Your Knowledge or Lose it

"Knowledge has to improved,

challenged and increased

constantly or it vanishes."

Peter Drucker, management expert

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Improve your knowledge or lose it.

Your knowledge has to be continually improved; or the value of your knowledge will continue to decline until our existing knowledge has no value.

To stay ahead in your field challenge your knowledge and what you need to know to be successful? Ask yourself what new knowledge will I need to improve my effectiveness and stay ahead of the pack?

Seek the knowledge required for success and commit to continually increase that knowledge.

By adding to our knowledge we add value to our business, and increase our personal worth to our customers.

Successful people are seen as experts in their field and the accumulation of knowledge is the foundation to being seen as an expert.

The accumulation of knowledge properly applied will move you into an elite status and being a person of influence.

This is a great time to increase knowledge, not only through continuing education, but by stretching out of our conmfort zone in any way we can. It's also a great time to get back to basics like doind open houses to practice sales skills and previewing homes to stay current on the inventory.

Either you are moving forward or you are moving backward, but regardless of what you are doing, you are moving. :)

One of the best examples of this is the knowledge of a second language.  If it not used on a regular basis, it is quickly forgotten.

Hi Lou:

It's so true...

Kind of reminds me of the saying "if you don't use it, you lose it"...

My reading last nght talked about the "in between" place - between one set of ideas and another. Remaining teachable, so that new knowledge gets in those nooks and crannies that are my mind, is key. If I - or let's say a seller holding onto their outdated notion of what their house should sell for -- don't let go of old ideas that no longer serve me, there is no room for new information or wisdom.

How true.  The agents who are experiencing a slowdown in their area and use this time to expand their knowledge of the business and their marketplace are the ones who will be ready to meet the challenges we'll face as we come out the other side of this downturn.
