City of League City Continues Mandatory Water Rationing

Stage 2 Mandatory water rationing began Thursday, July 2, 2009 as required by League City Code of Ordinances Chapter 114, Article VI, Drought Contingency Plan. Thanks to cooperation from League City residents and businesses, as well as a few days of rain, our water usage has decreased. However, due to projected drought conditions and repairs on our Highway 3 Pump Station the City will continue the mandatory rationing.

League City Police Officers and League City Code Enforcement Officers will be issuing warnings and citations for water rationing violations. The fine is up to $500 per day of violations.
