What's in your trunk?

By
Home Stager with HOME BRANDERS / DIXIELAND HOME DESIGN

I have done this before...but thought it would be funny to see everyone's responses.

It's ALWAYS interesting to see what's in a stager's trunk....b/c we all usually have the strangest things in our trunks.

CURRENTLY - In my trunk, you will find....

1. Wrinkle Releaser (Can't live without it!)

2. Portable Drill Set

3. Pledge

4. Sewing kit (I have no clue why this is in there..I cannot sew...but I guess it just makes me feel more prepared) HA!

5. Hammer/Nails

6. A rug

7. Bed risers

8. Fabric freshner

9. Paper Towel Roll (that has officially "un-rolled")

10. Fabric that I am determined to make something with....

And I could probably go on and on....did I mention that I have the world's tiniest car?

Oh No --- I just can't believe that you did not include duct tape.  I've heard that it is used for everything - one news article even described a duct tape prom dress.

Welcome to active rain.

My trunk is empty until I ready to go ot on a job.   Then the tools boxes fill it.

I have tool boxes, cleaning boxes, estate sale sale and tons more.

Why is it that the one thing you stop dragging around because you never need it is exactly what you need on the very next job?

I'm with Virginia. I keep the back of my X-trail empty when I'm not doing a job. Of course the back seat always has my portfolio and large paint chips :-)

Paint deck, fully loaded tool box, step stool, paper towels, a tarp, and dog treats.  And that's after being recently cleaned out!

Amber, I consider myself very lucky that my business van (traded in husbands worn out truck) is dedicated to just that and it rarely gets used for anything else except launching the boat....thus most of what I always need is there and clients are impressed when they peer inside and see what I have.  It is my best advertising and so handy.  Here is a photo of just what's inside my rolling tool box.

Of course my van holds many 5 gallon buckets and tubs of cleaning supplies, samples and sliders.

What a fun topic!  Light bulbs - 60 watt extra long life.  An empty canvas art tote.  A blanket and a few extra boxes.
