Book Sale - A fundraiser for A Chance for Bliss Animal Sanctuary in Penryn will be held July 25 & 26, 8-noon. The Sanctuary takes in old and special-needs animals and gives them a home for life. www.achanceforbliss.com  Thousands of items will be sold including books, CDs, DVDs, audio books and many miscellaneous items. The sale will be held at 2166 Swetzer Rd., Penryn. More info.

Please help to support this wonderful second chance for older and ailing animals.

3. Book Sale - Sacramento -  A benefit for Folsom Feline Rescue www.folsomfelines.org and KATMOM www.katmom.com will be held August 8, 10am-9pm, & August 9, 11am-2pm at Country Club Plaza, 2310 Watt Ave., Sacramento

Book Donations Needed - In order to help more animal-welfare groups always struggling for funds, more book donations are needed.  Also welcome are CDs, DVDs, audio books & video games. We are unable to accept leftover books from libraries at this time because of lack of space. Donations may be dropped off every Saturday morning, 8-noon, at address above. Email lyn4animal@aol.com for more information or directions.

What a wonderful way to find a pet and help a homeless dog or cat.  I salute the people who are in charge of these organizations for homeless pets.

Thank you for commenting Sandra. I try to send info out about animal groups as much as I can. I too salute the people who take their time to help. Check out the "A Chance for Bliss" website and see what they are doing... very heart warming.
