I've been coordinating the work that has gone on at this property for the last month and the homeowner just listed it with a realtor today for $6,000 more than they had discussed before staging! I did the staging consultation as if the house was going to be occupied and then they decided to vacate the property so that it would be easier to sell. I didn't get the best "before" pictures because some of the work began before the person living there moved out, but I thought I'd share what I had. I've looked at the comps and I think it looks very good as compared to other properties in the same price range. Crossing my fingers for a quick sale!

Charissa: The yard looks SO much better! The more neutral bedroom will be much more inviting than the yellow and is that black or blue? Whichever, it does look much better after your consultation.

Thanks for all the nice feedback! Just thought I'd let you all know that the homeowners got competing offers and the house sold in less than two weeks (with the realtor out of town the better part of a week) for thousands more than they would have listed it for before staging. I got my success story! Staging is a relatively new thing in my market so it's going to take some educating on my part. This stuff really works!
