I am currently blogging on ActiveRain and am very new -- started in June.  I am averaging 1 to 2 per week but want to increase.  I also have wordpress, but have not used it.  I will be very interested in what you find out.  Thanks.

I just opened a Wordpress blog today and posted a duplicate of my earlier blog post today.  I am not seeing much action on it at all and am trying to figure out the dynamics of syncing notification into my facebook and or twitter account.  I am dissappointed not to see more posts here of what is working for people

For an independent blog, a professional theme on the Wordpress platform is the way to go.  I've helped several agents set up their own sites, and I run from a Wordpress blog.  I also have a developer's license with WooThemes and can deliver their themes to  people who want to use them.

DailyAgentTips is not the best example because I have it set up to where it only displays a homepage and you cannot click into the blog.  However, with Wordpress, you can have almost any type of site you want.

Contact me through AR if you want to talk about Wordpress in more detail.

FYI: Wordpress has two platforms, the freebie subscription one, and the open source platform that allows for infinite customization.  The open source blog is the way to go and you can add hundreds of different features.

Hi Carolyn ~ In addition to blogging here on ActiveRain I have a blog with the Real Estate Tomato -  I am thrilled with it and with their training.

Thanks for the comments please feel free to share this blog with other so we can get more input I would love to see more conversation on this.  I am curious what blogs or most easily managable for your typical, user not a super techie.  I know the cost can be prohibitive for many to afford a guru to hook them up and I personally have found Active rain to be super user friendly.  Any other super user friendl sites out there?

Heres the link to tweet facebook or email to your contancts for more input

Carolyn, I am here at the NAR Convention in San Diego with you!  Most of my blogging time is spent on activerain, and I am an addict! lol.  I also post all of my localism posts on wordpress.  And I also share my blog on Twitter, Facebook and Namz.  So glad to have found you on activerain and to see you in San Diego. Woo Hoo!
