Greenbrier Pines Subdivision, Lewisburg, WV

Greenbrier Pines, Lewisburg WVIn 2004, my husband and I were in West Virginia attending my nephews wedding. Afterward, he suggested we drive to Lewisburg and checkout the area for a possible retirement area.  Well, I fell in love with this quaint historical town.  We found land for sale in the Greenbrier Pines Subdivision, about a mile from the town of Lewisburg.  We purchased two lots and built our retirement home.

Greenbrier Pines is a superb residential neighborhood and one of  Lewisburg's finest subdivisions.  Greenbrier Pines is situated on 50 acres, and within the city limits of Lewisburg.  One of the things that I liked about this subdivision is the underground utilities.  Homeowner's association dues are $100.  Elementary school is less than a mile.

Plus, the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful.  Greenbrier Pines is a great place to walk.  You usually see the neighbors out walking, some with their dogs, children or both.

Irene, the dues may be going up, once all the lots are sold. There are some lots that have sold, but builing has started as of yet.  THe state takes care of the road, there is not much to maintain, except for the entrance and also the pond.
