The 62nd annual Kiwanis Horse Show in Brecksville Ohio will be held on Sunday, August 2nd, 2009.
This is the oldest horse show in the State of Ohio and features a main ring for equitation as well as a hunter ring for hunter-jumpers. My daughter (a hunter-jumper) has competed in this show for several years and this is a great event for allowing riders to compete in a relaxed but yet formal atmosphere without all the pressure, stress and costs of A-rated shows. As a locally sponsored show by the Brecksville Kiwanis, it's a wonderful event to attend and learn more about horses, see some really neat things take place, visit with local arts and craft vendors, and eat some fun food.
