Real Estate For Trail Riders

I work as a realtor in an area, Big South Fork, Tennessee, that attracts a particular type of buyer....trail riders. It truly is The Trailriding Capital of the Southeast! buyers want to feel that their agent understands their needs and will often state that they prefer to work with a "horse person." It's easy to insist, over and over, that you "specialize" in equestrian properties but what does that really mean? "Specialize" is a word that has been seriously overused and abused!

Gita:  Thanks for your good wishes - this has been one of our most successful books.

Fernando:  Yes, the Law of Attraction is one of those immutable laws - it works all the time.

Leslie:  Being a specialist means you know everything about your subject.  I specialized in creative financing - I knew all the techniques there were to do creative deals, and then some.  I knew the listings available in the MLS.  I understood the mindset of the sellers and the buyers.  I also knew the agents that were the easiest for me to work with.  I used to run a small classified ad every day in the newspaper that said:  "I specialize in No Qualifying Properties/Creative Financing.  Let's put the deal together!"  Over the years that small ad brought in more business than the larger, more expensive magazine ads.  It also established my specialty in the mind of the public!

Edward:  Education is the key to growing your business.  None of us can put a cap on how much we learn.

Todd:  Glad you enjoyed this book.  Part of the education is to think outside the box - that's what makes you stand out from the crowd.

George I always lecture best diversify yourself % in certain areas SO if one area goes South you still involved in another section pump up the volume in areas bring most money.
