The market has changed so should we.We should change the way we think and market ourselves.It seems like it is not enough to just send flyers and post cards or use Internet marketing.We have to work harder and smarter.We have to be in front of people to let them know we are here to help.I started to door knock and noticed that you meet with people and they get to know you.It is actually fun to meet everybody and talk to them. I was surprise to see everyone was very positive and they felt like it is good time for real estate.
Noushin, we just started farming and sending out mailers to people who have a notice of default. If you run into any short sale opportunities or know of anyone who does commercial real estate (not just apartments), let me know. We can work together on short sales and I want to learn commercial real estate as I feel that they will be the next foreclosure opportunities.
Noushin, it's great to 'get back to basics' with your business. Sometimes it's easy to forget that the tried and true ways are the way to go. It's also important to ensure those basics are part of a larger, overall marketing plan...one that helps you identify your niche market or area you want to focus on. Developing a niche is a great way to get your name out there as the go-to Realtor for a certain demographic, be it law enforcement, firefighters, etc.
