Yes, I had a great time at WCR Leadership Academy last year, and yes, I make good use of the tote bag I received there. And, yes, when I came home from a day of "real estating" and inadvertantly left the tote bag on the floor, Cowboy found it made an excellent pillow -- afterall, what cat wouldn't want to dream about the exciting leadership, networking and educational opportunities available in Women's Council of Realtors. When I confided in him that many men had recently discovered Women's Council of Realtors and were also enjoying those same benefits, he was ready to put his paw print on the membership application, too. I mentioned the exciting golf outing coming up with the North San Diego County Chapter, and he is planning on putting his own foursome together.

Hey Lela! I am a little slow in responding to this post, but I love it. I still carry my Leadership bag daily, and wish I could attend WCR Leadership Acadamy on an annual basis. It was by far, one of the best experiences of my career. We too, have several men joining our local chapter, and more are finding out just how beneficial WCR really is.

Amy,
Great to hear from you! We just finished with our state meeting, and our new President-Elect, Andrew Rearick attended with me. The President-Elect for 2010 is also a gentleman -- so we are a chapter who clearly has diversity in mind! Looking forward to seeing you in San Diego for the National meeting. It's been a great year, hasn't it?
