Typically when people think about Littleton CO they think of an area South of Denver (downtown), West of I-25 and Highlands Ranch, and close to the foothills. Wildcat Ridge though is located between Highlands Ranch (on the West side) and Lone Tree (on the East). The zip code in Wildcat Ridge is the same as it is of Lone Tree CO - 80124. Often people think Wildcat Ridge is part of Highlands Ranch, but it's not. If you are a visual person, see a map below with reference points to help put it in perspective.

There are approximately 900 single family homes in the Wildcat Ridge. The homes were built starting from late 1990's to early 2000's. All the street names are something to do with Wild Cats - e.g. you can find Puma Ran, Jaguar Way, Tiger Chase... The home prices range from $250,000 to close to $800,000. Most homes are two story houses. Some of the homes back to MacArthur Ranch in the South, which is a community of large several acre lots with horse properties. On the East side of the Wildcat Ridge community runs a trail system. Past the open space and trails is Lone Tree.

Residents of Wildcat Ridge belong to a Homeowner's association and are part of the Littleton recreations and parks system. This gives access to the residents of Lone Tree to all South Suburban Park and Recreation facilities and amenities with a resident rate of without a fee.

Wildcat Ridge is a pool community. Wildcat Ridge park with jogging paths and a playground can also be found in the community.

Wildcat Mountain Elementary School is located within the community. Students that live in the Hearth subdivision in Highlands Ranch also go to Wildcat Mountain Elementary. Both the middle school, Rocky Heights, and the High School, Rock Canyon are close by. They are located just south of the Wildcat Ridge, on the West side of Monarch Blvd and South of MacArthur Ranch Rd. Douglas County School System has an open enrollment. The neighborhood school currently is Wildcat Ridge, but if a particular school is important to you it's always a good idea to check with Douglas County School District.

NOTE. In Douglas County Accessors office / records this subdivision is called Intrawest and Wildcat Vista. Intrawest includes most of the homes in Wildcat Ridge (about 830 of them). Wildcat Vista only consists of two streets: Jaguar Point and Jaguar Way. These streets are on the East side of Quebec and North of MacArthur Ranch Rd. Wildcat Vista that is usually listed under Wildcat Ridge or Intrawest in the Denver MLS listings.

Rita, Wow! That looks like a great community! Was the development named after big cats living in the area? We had a mountain lion and her baby living in a neighbor's back yard a few miles down the road a few years ago.
