Great tip Allison-

I just had a friend lower her water bill by 50% due to a toilet that would randomly refill the basin. It's in the basement so she never realized it until the city knocked on her door to find out why she was using so much water!  Gotta love living in a small town that cares about such things!

We do not have any leaks at my house. I have a professional plumber as next door neighbor. I feed him and he fixes the leaks. Works out great.

They can cost a lot of money those leaky toilets. Also be careful as some leaky toilets can turn into major problems when least expected and flood a bathroom/bedrom area in matter of minutes.
