Afternoon of the Fawn (photo)

We had a great deal of rain this winter and spring. It seemed the flowers and plants really loved it. Along with the flora comes the fauna. We have had a lot of fawns late this year. I was able to snap this one before it ran away.

Fawn in the woods in Big Canoe

Being a City kid for a lot of my life makes moments like this really special. Hope you all enjoy

It looks like Bambi.  Maybe you could make a movie-I would go see it.

Charlie, I have three Bambis that are now getting so familiar with seeing me they'll come to within about 15 ft. I love to watch them and have seen as many as 20 in my yard at a time. Nice photo.

Hey it's Bambi! LOL :) What a cute picture, and thank you for sharing. I woke up this morning to a new baby colt in my backyard, so this post made me want to run home and see how she/he is doing. Thanks! :)

I've seen your area through your pictures.   Keep up the good work, and all I can say is I wish I had the time to stop and smell the roses.   Btw, the last picture of the dam makes me want to break out my fishing pole and take a day off some time soon.....

Charlie, great photo!  I wonder where it's mother was?  They are usually not too far away!
