You might say in the real estate field your fifteen minutes of fame the clock starts ticking with that first face to face introduction with the client. I am curious across the sampling of readers of this post how commonplace or not it is with any of us? The claim is sometime we will get it. I think I am still waiting for mine. I have crossed paths with celebrities like Whoopi Goldberg. Not that she is my buddy or anything but I have met her. Well she's still famous, I just met the famous.
Think of all the one hit wonders along the way in the past or what could be currently.
Let's see there is AOL Chat rooms, McMansions, Twitter, landing on the moon the first time, eight gold medals by Michael Phelps, a winning Super Bowl touchdown, Sarah Palin being a Vice Presidential candidate, and of course Joe the Plumber.
I often think this fame thing is one of watch what you wish for. Susan Boyle in the UK who rocketed up the ranks with that talent contest and came in second, well it put her in a funk afterward.
