The amenities include a club house, tennis courts, I believe they are green clay, gated entrance, underground utilities, restaurant (nothing fancy), patrols,putting greens.You do not have to belong to any membership. It is semi-private community and annual fees range from $2,700 for a single, $3325 for a dual to $3,725 for a family and $4,750 for a corporate membership. Otherwise if not a member rates are seasonal and range from $20 to $69 in high season. Over 55 pay $27.
Even though Cape Royal is technically located in Cape Coral off Pine island rd., it is not part of Cape Coral and residents pay Lee County taxes only. They actually get their water from Pine Island.It is a Championship course, but Gordon Lewis designed the tees in such a way that you may be a beginner or a scratch golfer and enjoy it. Either way you will be challenged. This is high living at its best in a great Cape Coral Golf Community without the membership fees but with a championship course.
