Once Vacant: Staged Property SOLD, Boulder, CO ~ CHARM Home Staging

By
Real Estate Agent with 8z Real Estate + Expert Staging

This particular success story goes as such. We received a call from a perspective client who loves our work and would like to do business together (wonderful!). Client had a modest budget, wanted to prepare for 90 days on the market, and requested a "light stage". Great news, it is now sold (well before the 90 day mark)!

The feedback on the home was nothing short of "great, wonderful and well-appointed". It's always rewarding to accommodate our clients and see them reap the benefits of home staging!

The icing on the cake, the NEW homeowner was fanatical about our furniture selections and purchased pieces from the project.

"We've had great feedback on the staging. The comments we received last fall on the interior of the house (when it was vacant) were usually "average" or "okay". This time the comments are "excellent" and "very nice", so I think the staging is showing its value very well."

Well done. Probably the toughest homes to sell are the vacant properties. Foreclosures taken out of the equation. With minimum effort you made it comfy and appealing. Now if only something could be done about the homes where the owners don't know how to pick up.

Jenny - There is no doubt in my mind that staging a home can work wonders.

Hi,

Ed, Thank you. Staging a vacant home works wonders at providing buyers with a frame of reference and a feeling of home. Yes, teaching owners how to pick up is part of another process!

Robert, Absolutely!  I am glad you are a believer in staging.

I appreciate your comments.  I am green to blogging/commenting here but plan on making it a regular habit.

Best wishes,

Jenny
