I carry a taser. There is a company who market's to women in a "tupperware" type party. I bought one for myself and my college daughter. It is a nice shade of purple and I keep it in my pocket when I meet anyone for the first time.

I agree with eveyone so far, if you get bad vibes about a client, cancel, walk away, do what you have to do to protect yourself. 99 times out of 100 your hunches about a situation are correct. Believe in yourself and always look for an escape route.

We really have to be careful at all times. I read last week that a realtor was found dead in a boarded foreclosed home. Now this. I agree with Fred. If you get bad vibes, cancel the appointment. Better safe than sorry.
