Ah yes, taking up golf was on my list when I retired but quickly became history when I took up real estate instead. From your description, perhaps it's less frustrating.

Bill, never tried it and don't have nay desire to either. Just never understood the allure.
I rarely if ever play golf, usually because the people who invite me wait a long time before making that mistake again.
I had someone want me to go shoot a round of golf...I asked him what kind of gun do we use!
