WOW! ZOWIE! HUBBA HUBAA! - MY LOCALISM POST MADE NUMBER 2 ON GOOGLE OVERNIGHT

I'm speechless.  I cannot believe this.  In reality I have no idea how it happened or what mysterious chant I invoked for these results.

I'm pretty new out here and have been somewhat overwhelmed by all I had to absorb. Each day I make a little more progress.  All the acronyms are mind boggling.  Trying to make sense of tags short or long, meta tags, seo, rss, YIKES!  I really feel like a minnow in the big blue sea.

The Localism contest - 1,000 points every other day really got my interest.  Being new I was light in the point department.  I read the requirements carefully. That means I did it a couple of times to be sure it understood it.  I read Brad's post on the HOW TO add tags to your post for google.  I never had a clue how google picked up content to order it in a search.  I kept referring to Brad's post and made a list of everything I needed to touch on so I would not forget a step.

Last night I wrote my first business blog for Localism.  It took me forever to push the POST button.  My hand hovered on the mouse putting it off.  I was not sure if I had accomplished anything more than I usually do. Getting lost in cyber space.

I had no intention of checking the google position of my post because I believed my efforts were in vain.  But for some reason this morning I decided to take a peak.

OK!! SO YOU DID LAUGH! I still don't know how to get a snap shot of the google page to come over to the blog.

When I changed my search to Bars Peckville Pennsylvania - AJ's also came up in the second spot.

Thanks Brad so much for your tutorials.  I can't say for sure I understand why what I did worked, but I'm getting a lot better at following directions.
