Meridian Dairy Days is coming up June 12th through the 16th. This is an annual series of events designed to celebrate Meridian's history as a dairy community and to encourage the young folks through 4H and FFA activities. The events take place at Storey Park and the Meridian Speedway on Main Street.
Kicking off the celebration, the Dairy Princess Contest is Tuesday night the 12th. There is a Pancake Feed on Thursday the 14th from 4:30 to 7pm at Storey Park, followed by a concert by the Meridian Symphony Orchestra. Friday evening there is a parade through town, and Saturday there will be a Fun Run and a Festival. Throughout the week there are a variety of dairy and ag events scheduled as well.
