What is an ASHI Home Inspection?
An ASHI home inspection is simply an examination into the current condition of a home. An inspection therefore, will not pass or fail a house, but describe its condition at the time of the inspection. It will indicate which items will be in need of immediate or near future major repair or replacement and any condition conducive to causing a future problem. In addition, it will identify any component as a safety concern, which could be considered harmful or dangerous due to either the presence or absence of the component. Your ASHI inspector must meet rigorous professional and technical requirements. Membership status requires at least 250 inspections that meet or exceed the ASHI Standards then passage of the nationally recognized EBPHI exam. Membership in ASHI is earned not purchased like other associations. The American Society of Home Inspectors(ASHI) is the oldest and most respected professional organization of home inspectors in the country. The ASHI experience gives you more than technical expertise. It provides you piece of mind.
