I was recently featured in an article in the South Florida Sun Sentinel entitled, "New Technology Makes Real Estate Agents more Accessible". In the artcile I discussed a new peice of technology I use call realPing whcih allows me to push information to my clients and potential clients on their computer screen. I can send them virutal tours, my listings, my IDX search, my listing presentation, market stats and a mortgage Pre-Approval link. Click Here to check it out.
Also featured in the article were two agents in the area who seemed to dismiss the technology one of whom didn't quite understand how it worked and the other dismissed it as just sizzle. My question is "What's wrong with a little sizzle?" Isn't that exactly what what some of our clients want?
I consider myself a bit of a pragmatist when it comes to real estate, technology and marketing, my entire e-marketing strategy costs me approximately $100 per month. So I believe it's not bad to have a little sizzle, the real issue is, in my opinion, what is the cost benefit, is it worth what we pay? I'd like to read your opinion so please leave a post!
