What a great way to start the day!
Joe Williams of the famous duo Keller and Williams Realty came to Fayetteville today. It was a free breakfast and motivational seminar put on by my office and open to every real estate agent in the area hosted at the prestigious Highland Country Club.
Yes, this was partially a recruiting event as everything is....but it was more of a thing that Joe Williams does. He loves to meet people and to share his experiences.
What a nice guy Joe Williams is! Just like a regular everyday person. You would never know he was as important to the Keller and Williams company as he is. Walked right up and shook my hand and talked to me like we had been friends for years. IT was surely an experience that I will remember for a long time to come. He just instills confidence when he speaks. He was so confident of himself that he told the crowd that he could come here...put in a month of learning Fayetteville and be SERIOUS competition to anyone in the business. He stressed the importance of knowing your statistics and inventory that is on the market and being the "leader" when it comes to real estate in your market area.
There was a great turnout...I don't know the exact number but the room was quite full. We had agents from every company, well many of them, from our area. As I socialized with other agents and met those I had not yet had the pleasure I couldn't help but notice the amount of different companies represented by the nametags I saw.
I have to say...if you get the opportunity to hear Joe Williams speak then by all means GO! It doesn't matter if you represent Keller Williams Realty...this is worth a few hours of your day.
