Have You Tried Eyejot Videos for Real Estate Marketing?

From my Tools For Real Estate blog:

eyejot-perry1Eyejot is a cool real estate marketing tool that agents can use for sending short video messages via email.  My friend and colleague Greg Perry (a self-made techie and one of the first local agents to become a powerful blogger) pointed it out to me a few months ago, and I just noticed what a great job he did of branding himself on his Eyejot page.

Click the graphic on the left to see his profile on Eyejot, and I highly recommend checking out this video about the Home Buyer Tax Credit deadlinethat he is sending out to his real estate clients today for an idea of the type of useful videos you could create.

Eyejot has a free option, and their premium option that allows longer videos and more branding is around $99 per year.  Check out Eyejot's membership options here.

this is a great post. thanks. I just checked it out. As I use skype to connect with friends and family, I can see that from time to time a video email might be much better -- birthday greeting posts, etc.

However, It seems for whatever reason, people are slow to pick up the video chatting (maybe I'm wrong) its interesting how we don't really want  to just look at someone's face while we're talking, we glance around check out their clothes and other things in the room. It would be interesting to see a video platform that does that for us -- or maybe I'm out of my mind?

regardless, great post and one that I really like (purely web-based and no software) ! awesome web 2.0 solution.

Glad this was helpful!  Brett, I think part of the thing with video is that many of us (as in, especially some of us) don't turn out so well on the web cams.  I have yet to see a video of myself that didn't make me want to bag whatever the video was about and immediately claw through the phone book shopping for cosmetic surgeons instead. :)  But I know video is extremely useful and growing in popularity, for good reason.
