Ready, Set, Stage! Guest Speaker-Arkansas Institute of Real Estate

By
Mortgage and Lending with Liberty Bank of Arkansas

Arkansas Institute of Real Estate will offer a CE class for NWA Realtors this Friday at the Metro Area Board Office in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

I have been invited to be the guest speaker. My presentation will concentrate on the following:

  • What Home Staging is and isn't
  • Benefits of Staging
  • Types of Staging
  • Before and After photos
  • Talking to homeowners and overcoming their objectives
  • How much does Home Staging cost
  • Hiring a Home Stager
  • The future of Home Staging

The Arkansas Institute of Real Estate has recognized the benefits of Home Staging and is the first in the Northwest Arkansas area to bring this educational information into their classes.

Ready, Set, Stage! is looking forward to being a growing partner in this process.

Donna, does this open the door for you to start doing instructing on your own?

Gary, In the State of Arkansas you have to be a broker or attorney to teach (and charge a fee) any real estate class. I can do free classes on my own as long as I don't charge a fee. I am allowed to be a "guest speaker" under a broker or attorney that are approved instructors. But I think I'm limited to 2 hours by law. So for right now I'm excited to get my foot in the door with this.

Gary, They seem to have some pretty strict laws here.

Sheila & Cathy, I think all went well.  We had 22 Realtors, although I thought we were only having 7 until yesterday afternoon when they called to tell me to expect at least 22 or so. They seem to enjoy the presentations and ask questions. Hope I'll be invited back for more sessions. Hey signed up 10 more for my newsletter...that was good.
