Angel's Icehouse Restaurant in Spicewood, TX is a great family restaurant.
Many restaurants claim to be "family" restaurants, so what makes Angel's Icehouse different? They are a full service, regular restaurant, but also have a playscape area for the kids to play. Many fast food restaurants have play equipment, but you don't expect to see it at a "regular" restaurant.
They also have an entire outdoor entertainment area for live music, or just to have large gatherings. Picnic tables everywhere that can be moved around to accommodate the size of your group.
Think it's too hot to eat outside? They have fans blowing every which way on the back patio so it was actually fairly decent when it was 105 degrees and we ate outside.
Angel's has something going on almost every night from Taco Tuesday to Poker on Wednesday with a singer and song writer Thursday and live music on Friday and Saturday.
And for the record, Willie Nelson's pictures are all over the walls of this place too!
