Thankful Thursday - The Happy Jester Face

Warning: The photo below may strech some of your face muscles and cause a big smile on your face.

Today is Thursday.  In French, Thursday is jeudi.  I decided that jeudi will be a great day to share some recent photos of Jester.  Both jeudi and Jester start with the letters "je" that is how I came to the prior conclusion.  :)

I am so thankful for the joy and happiness Jester brings to the house.  He always puts on a happy Jester face and it is contagious (a good thing).

Was thinking of you yesterday Gerry.  I was looking at an old mustang online that is for sale down in Red Lodge.  I figured that since it is such a small town it either belongs to you or the other guy who lives in Red Lodge, lol.

Hi Gerry - When I saw Jester in the blog title, I immediately thought of the Court Jester.  I didn't realize you had a dog named Jester as I hadn't seen your earlier post about him.

Is that a train attraction that Jester likes to ride?

Marc,

He is kind of the Court Jester.  He fits well with Sir Barkley and Kylie (who is the alpha dog and acts like the Queen).  He loves to play and entertain Sir Barkley.

The train in the background is just decoration (near the Arts Guild building in Red Lodge which used to be the town's old train station).  I don't want him to think it is OK playing around railroad tracks.  :)

He sure does have a great time here in Big Sky country.  He is a Big Sky country dog (adopted in Montana unlike my other two dogs) and it just seems that he s getting BIG every day.  He already is at the same height of the other 2 dogs!

YOu've got quite a family going there Gerry!  Jester is a cuite. I bet it's a riot around feeding time!  It alwasy is at my house - bigggest part of the day!

The morning shot outside - gorgeous sunrise.  Montana is so beautiful!  ( and cold in the winter!)

Thank you.   Here, they have their food in their bowl (one for each) first thing in the morning.  They tend to eat pretty much throughout the day when they feel like it.  No big riot (if two of them present themselves at the same time in the food area, they acknowledge that the alpha dog goes first, that would be Kylie).  

Thank you for the comments on the sun rise (you must have checked my post with the winter sunrise).  Montana (more precisely Red Lodge) is actually less cold in the winter than Montreal where I spent most of my life.  It is all relative but no debate on it being beautiful!  :)

Don't be fooled by his radiant smile!  He is one of those that is hard to have stay still to take a photo of him.  He tends to move towards you and the camera so that makes a good challenge to try and capture a good photo.  LOL
