Red Lodge By Night

Here are photos I took the night of August 6, 2009.  As I was leaving the office, I noticed the amazing display of colors in the sky.  This was the call to make a detour om my way home to drive on Highway 308 towards Bearcreek and take the following sunset photo from the overlook before it got any darker.  It was a memorable sunset and I enjoyed every minute of it.  I will let the photos do the rest of the talking.

Hi Gerry - worth the detour!  I love your sunsets, but to be honest, I would not want to be leaving the office at sunset, and if I was leaving that late, I would drive straight home ;-)

Thank you for the great review of Red Lodge!   I am hoping I get the chance to visit Sandpoint some time in the future and spend time discovering the beautiful neighboring State of Idaho.

I just recently started working longer hours (outside the normal business hours) and keeping the office open longer on Thursdays, Fridays and on weekends to cater to those tourists in town that are looking at buying real estate in and around Red Lodge.  I recently picked up two prospects as a result of the extended hours.  You at least admitted that these picutres were worth the detour and I am glad you enjoyed them.  :)

A few days ago I happened up on a show on ABC about a centenial wagon train from Red Lodge to Meeteese.  Beautiful country!
