Bisbee Arizona is nestled a mile high in the Mule mountains. It was once a mining empire and even had a functioning stock exchange in it's height of copper production. The Stock Exchange is now a a bar/restaurant establishment located in the historic building. The building is for sale.
It is just one of the many historic places that have been transformed to accomodate the community and it's tourists who want to have fun.
Bisbee is home to many local artists. Their work can be seen in the galleries that line Main St. Many of the artists have profiles here.
Tourists come to old Bisbee in both the winter and the summer .The winter tourists are generally from the northern parts of the planet coming to escape the frigid temperatures. You will often meet folks from Alaska, Montana, Michigan and Canada.
The tourists that come in the summer are generally from closer desert cities like Phoenix or Palm Springs. Phoenix summer temperatures in July and August are often over 110 degrees F. In Bisbee and southeast Cochise county the July and August high temps are in the low 90's F, and many of those days the afternoon brings cooling monsoon rains.
Come visit Bisbee, hang out and have some fun!
