Absolutely the most important factor to a successful website

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with First SEO Consultants

Give visitors the information they're looking for - According to Google:
Provide high-quality content on your pages, especially your homepage. This is the single most important thing to do. If your pages contain useful information, their content will attract many visitors and entice webmasters to link to your site. In creating a helpful, information-rich site, write pages that clearly and accurately describe your topic. Think about the words users would type to find your pages and include those words on your site.

This is just one of the many steps to creating a successful website - but definitely the cornerstone.

Content is king and delivering it in a manner the people want and can access it easily is important.  I must admit I get frustrated when I go to a website and cannot easily find what I am looking for - and I know it is there somewhere.

Michael very true - even if it seems obvious it is good to be reminded of it sometimes

Agreed - this is seems to be a basic concept - but I keep seeing more and more confusing (very busy) websites that don't make it easy to find what I am looking for - so I just leave - and they talk about so many different topics that is becomes overwhelming

I couldn't have said it better. You can have top notch SEO, but without high-quality content they won't stay and no one will link.

Michael, I agree. Some of the best sites I've seen were very simple in design, but they had a lot of useful information.
