Hi Raymond, After living in Washington state for 2 years, it's hard to believe there is 300+ days of sunshine.  But we lived on Ft. Lewis nearer the the coast and you are in the higher eastern portion... but only about 150 miles east of Ft. Lewis as the crow flies.

Always good to hear from you Shirley! It's a world of difference east of the Cascades. The rain clouds drop their moisture before the get to the east side of the state. Moses Lake averages about 8 inches of rain a year.
