Now that I have a camera again that makes taking pictures an actual joy rather than the challenge that my point & shoot camera always provided me, I find myself looking at Mother and Father Nature and sometimes finding them playing tricks on my eyes. Such was the case recently when I was at the San Diego Zoo which is just a few miles from all of the Mission Valley condos. In addition to being a world-class Zoo, the San Diego Zoo is also a world-class botanical garden with hundreds of thousands of plants from throughout the world. The following tree peaked out at me as I rounded a corner over in the new Elephant Odyssey. What do you think it looks like? An owl? An ape? A prehistoric cave man? An alien from Area 51?

Hi Jim,
You are right a Caveman with a big smile! I see it too!
Have a Fabulous Day!
Judy
A grimmace from some strange creature of days gone by... Cool tree thanks for sharing... SMILE
Would have loved to have seen YOUR face when you turned the corner and saw that! Think its the coconut man, (cuz it looks like a coconut tree) and it looks like he is trying to tell you something, maybe that the Nature Contest only has a couple of days left, but think his lips are sealed!
Hey, Anna - I see it. I'm surprised I didn't see the Hobbit tree house, too, since Lord of the Rings is one of my all-time favorite series.
Hey, Ann - That was what I first saw, big old owl eyes staring at me.
Hey, Janna - Big Brother is here, so you never know where his eyes are.
Hey, Judy - The more I stare at the picture, the more things I can make out of the tree.
Hey, Diane - If Vegas Bob was here, he'd probably claim that it's an alien from Area 51.
Hey, Jane - I've never seen a frog with big eyes. Heck, I'm not sure I've ever seen a frog outside of the San Diego Zoo.
Hey, Al & Peggy - I think my marketing guru said that it's an Australian bottle tree.
Hey, Jim - Isn't it interesting how what is in our lives at any moment gives us a different perspective on things?
