It's a great day in the neighborhood and it is. The market is picking up in our Gorgeous Prince Georges County. We have the Neighborhood Stabilization Plan and many people are doing what they need to do to take advantage of the program. The program allows up to 7 percent toward down payment and closing costs for first time home buyers to purchase foreclosed properties. The landscape is changing and many foreclosed properties are now in the hands of families that are painting and remodeling and getting involved in the neighborhoods that they live in. It is a beautiful thing to watch, formally house that were a blight on the neighborhood are transformed into great homes with families and cookouts and birthday parties and wonderful lives.
It's a fabulous process to be a part of. Working with someone on their first property from start to finish. Getting them in the required home buyer class, working on minor credit issues, looking at the sometime very neglect properties and then finding the diamond in the ruff. I am loving the process and I am looking forward to the next few years and watching the families grow and become my clients of the future.
