Motivational Power Quote

Don't Waste Your Energy

"Feeling sorry for yourself,

and your present condition,

is not only a waste of energy

but the worst habit you

could possibly have."

Dale Carnegie, author

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Don't waste your energy.

If things are not going the way you would like them to be; don't feel sorry for yourself find a way to change the condition.

It's a waste of your time and energy to feel sorry about yourself and the way things are; take action and invest you energy in positive change.

Feeling sorry for yourself creates a habit that takes you away from your goals and objectives and will lead you down the path of being unhappiness; it becomes one of the worst habits you can form.

If you recognize that you have formed habit of feeling sorry for yourself, it's the first step in correcting the habit.

I don't ever recall a time when self-pity ever lead to productivity.

Oh, but whining is so much fun!  Sorry...I couldn't resist!  A great reminder to take action instead of getting caught up in the  "poor me" trap.  Thanks, Lou!
