I want to personally thank our Arizona Ambassador Mike Jones. I've finally decided after just four weeks to make the jump to Rain Maker. I've been impressed by how Active Rain provides the environment for expression of opinion, education, information and some funny commentary as well.
As a mortgage lender in Tucson Arizona where we have been hit hard by foreclosures and shortsale properties I find it more important than ever to expand my sphere of influence. Loan guidelines continue to tighten up as well as credit restrictions and so it's become increasingly difficult to qualify buyers in such a market. So expanding the methods by which I find contacts and form relationships with referral partners is that much more important.
My original purpose for trying Active Rain was to see if I could work this networking style into my daily or semi daily routine. It was easier than I thought it would be. The point system makes the experience that much more fun and somewhat of a challenge.
So for all the people who are trying Active Rain out for free, once you feel you can work it into your routine and feel somewhat comfortable with the process, then it's time to upgrade. go to the person who signed you up because sometimes they can offer you some valuable advice and maybe even get you a discount on your first month.
See you in the rain,
Michael A. Rohde
