Be Memorable and Finish Strong

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with ERA Strother Real Estate

We all have heard the saying, "It's not how you start but, how you finish!" Well, really it's how you start AND how you finish!  The busy time of the year is here and NOW is the time to "WOW" your clients/customers.  Finishing strong develops strong businesses and grows great reputations!  As sales professionals, is that one of your goals? Let's take a look at a few ideas that may assist you in being memorable to your clients. Keep in mind...Being memorable =  MORE personal referrals!

•1.      If you just smile...Smiles are contagious!

•2.      Leave your problems at home. Set them aside during work hours and take care of business.

•3.      Follow through. "Do what you say you are going to do!"

•4.      "Do what you expect" Often times we expect way more than we deliver!

•5.      Be positive. Attitude is everything!

•6.      Use the customer's name throughout all your conversations and repeat customer's requests to

ensure you are clear on their needs.

•7.      Stay in touch...Pick up the phone and call. Email can NOT replace the personal touch that only

comes from a phone call or a face-to-face conversation.

•8.      Remember, you do have to "sweat the small stuff"!  Everything counts...The power is in the

hands of the customer/client. They will exercise their right at any time to choose another

           Realtor over the small stuff.

These things can be easily avoided if you are paying attention by: returning phone calls timely, remembering their children's name, being on time for appointments, eye contact and etc.  So, take the time and grow a huge referral business by being memorable and finishing strong!
