The North San Diego County Association of Realtors held its first meeting of brokers and office manages, in which the discussion was on how to improve the boards ability to help brokers with the challenges they face with this real estate market. The out come was very interesting. On board was Robert Brown PhD @ California State University of San Marcos, his comments carried a lot of weight. Most noteable was that the inventory is down 40% from last year at this time, and that the median price for attached and detached homes increased by 4.12% from June 2009 to $379,000.
Total number of pre-foreclosures in the San Diego County is 4,486 and the number of bank-owned properties ending July 2009 was 3,002.
