DO YOU REALLY HAVE IT ALL FIGURED OUT as far as LIFE is concerned?

ANOTHER PERSPECTIVE on life, religion, and the universe

Cannot help but think of humanity's religious and philosophical experiences on our tiny planet Earth when I watch this. All the crusades, intolerance, etc. that has been going down through the centuries, have we human beings gone mad? Who are we really fighting?

I am having a hard time believing that Earth would be the only planet with life on it: flowers, trees, ants, birds, fish, and human beings. Can we really beieve that we would be the only ones in this vast universe? I think it would be the hardest thing to prove, and a very limited perspective indeed.

KEEP SEARCHING FOR THE TRUTH AND YOU'LL FIND IT. AND WHEN YOU FIND IT YOU WILL KNOW IT IS THE TRUTH!

Niki - Who are we really fighting?  We're fighting ourselves; our ignorance, our blindness, our inflexibility, our narcissistic belief that it's all "about us."  Some will "get it," and some won't.  Those who do learn how to enjoy each moment, each breath, and are enveloped in an unwavering sense of purpose.  Have a great day!

Unlike other planets the Earth is unique.  It is located at the right distance from the sun, contains the right mixture of gases, has volumes of water, is beautiful, can sustain man and animals, etc., etc., etc.

The bible tells us that God created the earth to be inhabited - Isaiah 45:18  There is a purpose there.

The earth he has given to men - Psalm 115:16.

For years Scientists speculated about the possibility of life outside of our planet and searched the galaxies to no avail.  You said something interesting "Can we really beieve (believe) that we would be the only ones in this vast universe? I think it would be the hardest thing to prove, and a very limited perspective indeed".  Now turn that around, it would be the hardest thing to prove that there is life outside of our terra firma.

Thanks for your comments!

Dee, Of course what I wrote sounds funny since we do not have the technology right now here on Earth to go and visit other planets and galaxies at will so in that sense it would be hard to prove.

But I know there have been statistical calculations by scientist stating that the chance of Earth being the only inhabited planet is pretty much zero.

And there may be proof of other living beings having visited Earth such as the controversial story of Area 51, but we would not know without our governments releasing such information to the public:

Some claim they remember having lived on other planets. I am keeping an open mind and hope that technology will continue to advance on our beloved Earth and I hope that the technology will be used by people of goodwill.
