The Composer District in Cardiff is named, well, as you can guess, because of the streets, about 15 of which are named after famous composers - Rubenstein, Chopin, Bach, Mozart, Verdi, Rossini, and Liszt, to name a few. Located to the north of Birmingham (main road and exit off the 5 freeway), this area is primarily residential but close to the downtown shopping area.
While not all of the Cardiff Composer District homes for sale offer ocean views, many homes do, given their location on hills facing west, which of course contributes to the high prices in this neighborhood. Access to the ocean, while close, is not a simple matter, as there are railroad tracks and the coast road to cross; the closest road that does so is Chesterfield in the heart of town.
