Quote of the Week:
"Strong reasons make strong actions."

Good Morning!
Consider this: The 4 means that may or may not have my family retiring comfortably are (1) social security, (2) a great pension, (3) and savings, (4) lottery winnings.
Ask yourself:
- "Do I think I can depend on Social Security ten years from now to get me through my retirement?" (Social Security is scheduled to run out of money in 2013.)
- "Will my pension at work get me through my retirement?" (Can your company afford to pay you for 40 years after you retire?)
- "Do I even have a pension and if I do, is it guaranteed?"
- "If 2 of the 4 ways to retire comfortably are eliminated, what's left for me in my retirement?" Oh wait...those Lottery winnings! Woo Hoo!
- "What MUST I do NOW before it's too late?"
- "Will I outlive my money or will my money outlive me?"
The answer: ______________________________________ (see below)
Here is another way to consider it:
- My social security will provide me with approximately $_________________ per month in my retirement years.
- My pension will provide me with approximately $________________ per month in my retirement years.
- My personal savings will provide me with approximately $_______________ per month in my retirement years.
Final question: Do I want to move in with my kids someday and if so, will they welcome us in with open arms?
